What is Neural Recalibration & What Makes It Different?
Originally developed, practiced, and now taught by Ricki Porter from R3 Integrative Health, Neural Recalibration (NR) is a new and unique approach to physical testing before therapy and re-testing after receiving therapy - there is nothing quite like it!
NR combines the strengths of many different therapeutic disciplines into one single patient visit so that the clinician can then choose an appropriate course of therapy for the patient. This ensures quicker and better outcomes for even the most complex or chronic cases.
The NR exam involves many of the common physical tests such as: motor and sensory testing, bilateral blood pressure, range of motion testing, gait(walking) exam, force plate balance testing, breathing assessment, and manual muscle testing.
The hallmark of the NR exam is manual muscle testing (MMT). This particular layer of examination is where this approach truly shines with patients who have had very limited results with other forms of care.
After conducting the NR exam, your clinician will be able to localize the root cause(s) of your problem and treat it at its source or refer to a specialist if needed.
